By registering for a WorldatWork event, you agree to share your registration information with sponsors and exhibitors of the event. (To learn how to opt-out of sharing your information with an event’s sponsors and exhibitors, please see our Privacy Policy.)
By registering for an event, you agree to abide by all site, building, local, municipal, city, state and federal laws, rules, procedures and recommendations regarding COVID-19 and social distancing requirements. In addition, you agree to all WorldatWork rules, regulations and procedures regarding COVID-19 and social distancing that it has or may put in place.
These rules, regulations, and procedures may include but not be limited to the following:
• Mask requirements
• Temperature check requirements
• Physical distancing
• Use of sanitizing Stations
• Vaccination/proof of negative COVID-19 test
This policy sets out the terms and conditions between WorldatWork (“WorldatWork” and/or “we”) and individuals that register and attend WorldatWork events and/or conferences, (“Attendee(s) and/or “You”). By registering for an event or conference organized by WorldatWork, the attendee is agreeing to comply with these terms and conditions.
The following WorldatWork Registration Terms & Conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) apply to all WorldatWork events and conferences. Prior to registering, attendees must acknowledge and accept the Terms & Conditions contained herein. Should attendees not wish to accept the Terms & Conditions attendees will not be allowed to register.
Submission of a registration is regarded as an affirmation of your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions.
WorldatWork is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how WorldatWork collects, processes and uses your data is included in the WorldatWork Privacy Policy which is hereby incorporated into these Terms & Conditions.
WorldatWork uses the personal data you provide in this registration for administering your participation in this event. This may include information about the event’s content, event logistics, payment, updates, and, additional information related to the event
WorldatWork may disclose your personal data to third-party service providers engaged by WorldatWork to assist in the conduct of the event (e.g., housing bureau, mobile application provider). Information you provide when registering for or participating in an event managed or co-sponsored by parties other than or in addition to WorldatWork may be shared with those parties, and the treatment of such information is further subject to the privacy policies of those parties. Except as described herein, WorldatWork will not disclose your personal data to any other third party without your consent except where required to do so by law.
The document outlines the protocols recommended and preventative measures to reduce the COVID-related risks associated with attendance at any in-person WorldatWork Event. This document may be modified as guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), applicable state or local requirements, or circumstances change.
All individuals at WorldatWork hosted in-person meetings /courses must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of their vaccination status. This requirement includes presenters, attendees, exhibitors, faculty, learners, staff, guests, and vendors. (WorldatWork has no control of hotel, restaurant, and/or convention center staff). Full vaccination is defined to mean that the individual has received a second dose and/or booster of an FDA approved COVID-19 vaccine and a total of 14 days have elapsed since the date of that vaccination. If one does not have full vaccination, they may attend the event/course only by providing documentation of a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior to start date of the event/course.
Three weeks prior to an event, the logistics of how vaccination status and/or negative test results will be shared. No photos of vaccination cards will be accepted.
- For events/courses with 50 or more individuals, we will use a third-party resource (such as Id.me) to collect this information
- For events/courses with less than 50 individuals, we will require individuals to show a photo of their vaccine card or copy of negative test results upon checking in. If one does not have either of these requirements, we will have a handful of rapid tests available onsite to take to fulfill this. A WorldatWork or Maritz Team Member will lead this process on-site.
WorldatWork will continue to follow CDC and local guidelines of each city that the event/course is being held. We will email individuals 30 days out with an update to the requirements around this policy.
All WorldatWork in person events/courses will offer areas with physically distant seating to allow individuals who wish to physically distance while in attendance to do so comfortably. In addition, to help individuals communicate their level of comfort in interacting with one another, WorldatWork will provide stickers to all individuals to place on their badges:
- Red = Greet From 6 Feet
- Yellow = Elbows Only
- Green = Handshakes and Hi-fives
For non-WorldatWork hosted events/courses that WorldatWork is participating in (for example, in person courses hosted by an affiliate/local network where WorldatWork faculty is the instructor), we will adhere to the hosts event/course requirements around COVID-19 Safety.
- Photography and/or recording (including audio and video) during the event is allowed for personal and private use only.
- Photos and/or recordings cannot be copied, altered, sold, exhibited, or further distributed without WorldatWork’s prior written consent.
- Photos and/or recordings are the exclusive property of WorldatWork.

All Cancellations or Registration Transfers must be submitted in writing and emailed to customerexperience@worldatwork.org
One may cancel for a full refund up to 30 days prior to the event. After 30 dates we will work with you should the need to cancel arise. Please contact customerexperience@worldatwork.org
All requests for a registration transfers must be provided in writing and emailed to customerexperience@worldatwork.org. Registration rate difference will apply depending on the membership status of the new registration
WorldatWork has negotiated a group rate at the host hotel that is honored until the contracted block of rooms is sold or until the cut-off date has expired, whichever occurs first. WorldatWork cannot guarantee the group rate after that time. To make reservations, please call the hotel listed for your event, mention that you are a WorldatWork event attendee and the dates of the event to receive the group rate. Hotels affiliated with each event can be found on the event webpage.
WorldatWork prohibits discrimination, harassment, and bullying
against any person for any reason—for example, because of age, ancestry,
color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religion, gender,
sexual or affectional orientation, gender identity, appearance,
matriculation, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status or
any other characteristic protected by law.
WorldatWork is committed to providing a safe, productive, and
welcoming environment to all participants, including staff and vendors,
at WorldatWork-related events. WorldatWork has no tolerance for
discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form at
WorldatWork-related events. Participants are expected to adhere to these
principles and respect the rights of others.
Participants should report any behavior inconsistent with these principles to onsite event staff. Event staff will be happy to help participants contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your attendance.

By attending our event, you agree to abide by and engage in certain
health-and-safety-beneficial conduct while attending the event. This may
include, but is not limited to, wearing a mask at all times in public
areas, engaging in appropriate physical distancing, and not attending
the event if you are ill. If you have questions regarding this policy,

In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in
the event, you hereby warrant and represent that you are age 18 or
above and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and
covenant not to sue WorldatWork or its members, employees, board
members, agents or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage or personal
injury, including loss of life, illness, including but not limited to
COVID-19, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of
any kind that you may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during or
after the event, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury,
including loss of life, illness, disability, property damage or property
theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, willful conduct of
WorldatWork. This Liability Waiver and Release is specifically binding
upon your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given.
If you agree to speak at a WorldatWork-sponsored, we may share your
contact and biographical information with event attendees. Sometimes we
may also request a photograph. In other cases, we post on the respective
event websites information such as your name, and employer, as well as a
link to your company website and/or professional LinkedIn page
available to the public. Additionally, speakers may be asked to complete
a release agreement or copyright form prior to their presentation.
WorldatWork event co-sponsors, exhibitors, and other third parties may directly request your personal information at their exhibit booths or presentations. Providing your information to them is optional, and you should review their privacy policies to address your particular needs and concerns about how they will treat your personal information.
If during the event you attend a session or program hosted by an exhibitor other than WorldatWork, you understand and agree that when you present your badge for scanning or when you provide personal data, that information will go to a non-WorldatWork identity and WorldatWork takes no responsibility for how that company uses your personal information.
